Dave was stuck in Lisbon last night coming home from Morocco, so despite being sick, I was tasked with getting both boys out the door and to school together. On time. Gulp! We usually take them separately, as Ben’s school starts at 8:10 and Issac must be at his by 9:00. And things just goContinueContinue reading “Morning Commute”

Weihnachtsmarkt – Spandau
Christmas markets are a big deal in Germany. And we are learning why. When the weather is cold and the nights come early, nothing is more welcome than these fair-like gatherings filled with rides, holiday lights, open fires, live music, hot drinks, tasty treats and traditional snacks. Herbst – Part II
On our way go school this morning, Isaac and I were amazed by the beautiful fall colors. He kept asking me to take more pictures of him and the leaves. How could I resist? Here are some of my favorite shots.
Herbst – Fall
Not since Dave and I lived in Boston a decade ago have I enjoyed the fall trees as I have here in Berlin. It’s been unseasonable warm with little rain, so the leaves have not fallen much either. My fond feelings of this natural wonder can best be shown with photos. {Boys playing this morningContinueContinue reading “Herbst – Fall”
