Berlin in May

It’s been a busy and beautiful month here in Berlin.

We’ve stopped wearing long underwear. (Hooray!) And hats and scarves.

Dare I say we’ve taken out our shorts and sandals? Yes, we have.

It’s been so beautiful with the flowering trees.

I especially love the lilacs, which were missing from my adult life until living in Berlin.

COVID restrictions have mostly lifted.

And we are traveling again.

Berlin’s collective winter depression is over and everyone is manic!
