Summer Time Fun

The last day of school was on Wednesday. Ben will start the fifth grade in August and Isaac will be in third!

We are especially relieved given that we spent January through May in distance learning, with the boys in school for only part of that time.

Today, we are packing and getting ready to return to Bavaria tomorrow.

One step we have added to our list of preparations is to get COVID tests in order to check into our Ferienhaus, provided for free by the city of Berlin.

A slight inconvenience for some piece of mind.

This time we’ll take a four and a half hour train to Munich followed by an hour and a half drive to our vacation home near the Austrian border along the Alps.
