I’ve been posting a lot less on this blog.

You see, I have been focusing on two other interests these days.

First, I am in the middle of a Life Coach training program and absolutely love it.

And for anyone who knows me, I have gone above and beyond the requirements and have truly followed the principle, “Life it to give it.”

Oh, have I been living it.

Simultaneously, I am setting up my coaching practice.

Which includes a lot of coaching of both my classmates and willing friends (thanks to those who have allowed me to be a part of their lives in this way), as well as new folks who have come into my life as clients.

This course take around 10 – 15 hours of my time each week, so it has truly become a part-time gig.

Secondly, I bought myself a nice starter camera kit in January (happy birthday to me!) and spent many a cold, snowy morning capturing some of Berlin’s greatest sites.

I’ve set up an Instagram page (berlin_foto_fun for anyone interested) and have gotten to “know” a lovely group of supportive IGers in the Berlin area.

I haven’t actually met any in person and they don’t even know anything about me other than my pictures, but it has actually been a wonderful way to learn from others through their photos and to play with my own creative spirit.

Our kids have been in the dreaded “Distance Learning” mode since Christmas Break (both go back to school on Monday every other week, hooray) and we’ve been in a lock-down here in Germany since mid November 2020.

Needless to say, we are all ready for the springtime and for more folks to get vaccinated here in Germany and back home so that we can try to return to whatever the “new normal” will look like.

We are hopeful, but cautious (medical masks for each of our family members).

And hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy, both physically and mentally.

Because I don’t know anyone who can say their lives haven’t been affected by the pandemic.

Looking forward to seeing you dear family and friends either virtually (something we’ve all gotten used to) and hopefully in person sooner than later.

Until then, hang in there.

And remember the power of connection, art, play and movement.

I know these things have kept us together here in Berlin.

Beautiful photos!!! Congratulations on your new venture; making the most of every opportunity!

Thanks, Jan! Both ventures have definitely helped to keep me busy and sane this winter, especially with the yoga studios closed.
