Barcelona

For Easter break, we spent a week in Barcelona. It’s a city Dave and I have always wanted to visit.

In fact, we even considered it as a place to move to in Europe along with Berlin.

Something about it just ticks off so many things that we desire in a city.

Water: River, Lake or Beach, check.

Good food and drink, check.

Family friendly people and activities, check.

Culture, check.

Good climate (even though we had several chilly and rainy days), check.

Affordability (compared with a lot of Europe), check.A language at least one of us kinda speaks, check and check.So why didn’t we move there since it seems so desirable on paper? We love Berlin and feel it’s the right place for us. But at least Barcelona is just a quick flight away. {Sant Jordi day rose}
