I woke and my knee was still really bad. So I convalesced while Dave took the boys to the playground at Arkonaplatz.

They loved it. Worlds tallest slide (maybe not, but it was steep and fast). Water fountain to cool off in.
{Ben, Isaac and the steepest slide ever}
I was just glad for the peace and quiet.
With London two days away, I decided to go to the doc to get assessed.
{Germany loves the royals, too}
Being a big Megan and Kate fan, I was psyched to see the cover of the celebrity mag at the doc’s office.
{Babylon Berlin}
And an update on one of our current favorite shows, Babylon Berlin. If you haven’t watched it, check it out on Netflix. It follows the life of a police inspector in Weimar era Berlin.
It’s been fun seeing some of the places where it’s been filmed such as the Rotes Rathaus, red City Hall, in Alexanderplatz.
{Rotes Rathaus}
Of course, the Berliner Fernsehturm was not in the show!
Later that day, Dave took the boys to a festival at Alexanderplatz. They had a blast and came home with new pets. Mechanical dogs names Sparks (Ben’s) and Cutes (Isaac’s).

Meanwhile, I went to a cafe and studied my German over a glass of Riesling.
