Today was a study in the juxtaposition of cultures.

Went for my morning walk in my Buffalo Bills hat past the Kulturbrauerei to pick up Schlomo’s bagels made by Eddie from Michigan. {Kulturbrauerei}

During the walk, I saw a basketball tournament with funk music playing on the loudspeaker.

Now Ben is video chatting with his buddy back in Atlanta, playing video games and giving him a tour of our apartment.

It’s almost like we never left the neighborhood.

Time to run to the grocery store to pick up enough groceries to last us until Monday because most stores, including our neighborhood Rewe, are closed tomorrow.
